People all over the world know Asus for making great gaming laptops at a low price, like the TUF and ROG Strix models. But this time it is pricey gaming laptop thats worth it. I am talking about the brand new, updated, slim ASUS ROG Strix Scar 18. Asus has made many changes to the same lineup to make it better. It is now slimer, thinner, but the performance is the same , little better. but You want to buy this laptop, I review here with all of specs and features.

Design Of ROG Strix Scar 18

Let’s talk about the Scar 18 itself now. The laptop is 3 kg, which is pretty big but not too heavy. Instead of going all metal, they just used plastic to keep it manageable. And yes, it does show fingerprints. It’s smooth and black. Let’s talk about the thrilling part, which is the best thing about the laptop: the RGB! You can change the name, the back, the front, a lot more. On the left, there are power adapter, RJ45, HDMI 2.1, Thunderbolt 4 ports. It’s easy to type, because the keyboard tray is very big, and the keys sound fine. There is also this huge glass touchscreen that feels great when you touch .

The Intel i9-14900 HX CPU, 32 GB of RAM, a fast 5600 MHz RAM are at the bottom of this beast. It’s definitely  monster for games. The twist is that it’s not that different from Scar 17 from last year. As far as single core performance goes, it’s the best, but AMD’s Ryzen 9 still has the edge. It’s the best game ever. Overall, this is the best laptop for the money if you are a pro or intermediate gamer, coder or a creator who wants to use it for work, play games, or edit videos.

Let’s talk about the screen. 18 inch, 16:10 mini LED screen with a resolution of 2560 x 600. Trust me, it is beautiful show. It  more than 2,000 zones and can get as bright as 1100 nits at its brightest. It stands up to a MacBook Pro 16, which is the HDR king, and does not let me down. It is  dream for gamers and even people who work as designers because the colors are so bright and the contrast is just right.
